Hi. Im looking for someoneto recomend a system for me. Just bought a new house so want a nice new router with excellent wifi but i also have a office outbuilding in the garden that i will be running my buisness from so need hard wired and wireless connections out there. I have a cat6 cable between the locations so what products is best?

Make sure the switch is a non managed, non green ethernet feature switch.
If it's a managed switch, be sure to disable ALL IGMP protocols on this switch.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
Distance between the router and satellite(s) is 30 feet recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
If you have the lan cable infrastructure in place you can connect the satellites to the base router via LAN cable as well...

Thanks for your help. the distance between house and office is more the 30ft so the cable will be needed but didnt know for sure if you can hard wire using the Ac2200 (now i know). I was then going to plug a 8port switch into the hard wired satalite to p ick up all my hard wired devices, do you think there could be any issues there?
