What is the difference between the RBK40 and RBS40 firmware
i purchased the ac2200 mesh wifi system. It has a router and two satelites. The router is RBR40 and the satelites are the RBS20. If i go to the RBK40 product page which lists the RBR40 and RBS20 firmware, the latest is 2.6.2.6.104. If i go to the RBR40 product page, the latest firmware is 2.6.1.36. Why is there a diffrence?

The most likely explanation is that the person responsible for updating web pages either (a) forgot one, or (b) has not yet got around to updating one. Seems rather inept to me.
To be fair, in a previous career I worked at a place where the web site was of those "datbase management platforms" where every change to the production web site required several steps and levels of approval. Things can get hung up at several places along the line. Maybe one version had a typo and was sent back to be revised.
