Why in the 21st century we cannot backup only what is common data on one Orbi model and restore it on a another?
Moving from Orbi RBR50 to a RBR850 router should not have to be a fully manual redo. I get the features and option and firmware are different .. but, the data in the up reservations, dhcp setup, gateway, subnet, ipaddress, dns… all that is just txt data .. why not map that out in a restore or a migration / upgrade tool!

Amen. Having the configuration as a text file would enable users (a) to see what is being saved as the 'configuration', and (b) change or add entries. As things stand, the 'configuration' is a black box. This leads to the frequent advice of a Factory Reset to "clear out the cobwebs".
