I have a home office in our garage which separate from the house, I currently use a range extender between the house and the garage but the wifi signal is optimal. There is about a 50 foot distance between buildings. Will Orbi improve the signal?

Hello drauber
Orbi can cover up to 2,000 sq feet per unit but it is still wifi and interference from other networks and home appliances can still degrade the coverage. You will get better speeds using the orbi over a typical wifi extender.
Orbi uses tri-band mesh, with a combined speed of AC3000. This gives us a gigantic speed advantage over the competition. We use one of the bands for a dedicated connection between the nodes in the system. This means that we don’t have to share time when listening for clients and other nodes in the system. Due to this, our own internal testing shows that we’re anywhere from two to ten times faster than the competition throughout a customer’s house.

Hello drauber
This all depends on how much wifi interference is in the area. What is the model of the router and extender that you are currently using?
