Will ethernet ports still exchange data if Orbi router power is lost?
I can't test this at the moment so I'm hoping someone can help. I need to know if the power is lost on the Orbi router if any devices connected to the router via the ethernet ports will be able to exchange data through the router to my cable modem. Thanks.

Re: Will ethernet ports still exchange data if Orbi router power is lost?
The Orbi units include an Ethernet switch, so power will be required for passing data. This would be the case with any Ethernet switch. You can buy a UPS if you need to operate through power outages.
