connection keeps dropping
We bought our system in July of last year. It was working great until the beginning of this month. We had issues with out internet modem which we finally got fixed last week. Now I find that the router is dropping the signal intermittently (mostly in the early afternoon). I have seen alot of other posts on how to resolve this (changing DNS and going from 5 gHz to 2.5). They all read like stereo instructions. I haven't got a clue as to how to change any of these. I should still be under the warranty period but I can't submit a case because it has expired and can't ask for support because that has also expired. Was really happy with this until the past week.
I have updated the firmware and changed the ethernet cable to the modem and synced the satellites but nothing seems to work. Anyone with suggestions?

Re: connection keeps dropping
Details might help.
1. what orbi system do you have?
2. what actual firmware number is on the orbi system?
3. what modem do you have?
4. when it drops, does it say "connected, no internet" does the wifi stop broadcasting entirely, does it see the wifi but can't connect? what actually happens?
5. what it drops, do wired devices drop?
6. what fixes it?
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
