difference between connecting 5 ghz wifi on orbi vs ethernet connection to satellite?
Is there an advantage? Connecting by ethernet to the satellite, does that yield better speed/lower latency than connecting just to the 5gz wifi broadcasted?

There could be a advantage because you are not using another wireless connection speeds could be better.

Re: difference between connecting 5 ghz wifi on orbi vs ethernet connection to satellite?
I get about 100 Mbps more throughput (575 versus 475) wired to the satellite versus connecting to the 5 GHz WiFi. If you can connect with a wire it would be better, because as @DarrenM indicated, you are not using another WiFi connection and that saves RF airtime for other wireless devices.
