Re: facetime freeze on satelites
What FW version are you using? Give the Beta a try at the top of this forum thread there is a link.
What iOS are the devcies using?
What channels are you using?
What security modes are you using? Try WPA2 and AES only.
Disable IPv6, MIMO, Daisy Chaing and Fast Roaming if you have these features and try facetime.

Re: facetime freeze on satelites
If you have the 50 series system, please try the beta:
Factory reset on both router and Satellite and set up from scratch.

Re: facetime freeze on satelites
You do have a RBK50 series router with the RBS50 Satellite correct?
"If you have a kit that includes a different hardware product (including RBK52W, RBK40 series or RBK30 series) or a RBK50 or RBK53 with an add-on satellite (RBS40, RBW30), please hang tight. We’re not quite done with it yet, but will update this thread when it’s ready."
Try using IE11 or FF browser and be sure your ethernet cable connected to the router and satellite when donig the upgrade. Do not use wireless.

Re: facetime freeze on satelites
IE11 is Internet Explorer 11 and FF is FireFox browsers. use these for updating FW if you have the required model.
Disable MIMO and Beamforming and test as well. Facetime shouldn't freeze. Doesn't with my iPhone 6sP.
