how to turn of 5GHX radio on the Orbi router
I am looking to turn off the 5ghz on the Orbi RBR50 and RBS50, is there a way to do this? I have some in home automation devices that can only use 2.4ghz singal and I need to be able to turn off the ...
Correct. I asked a simple question. I shouldn’t need to explain why a simple yes you can and here’s how - or alternatively no you can’t would suffice. Your reasoning for not needing to is immaterial. And personally I’m not offended- you are obviously just a **bleep**.

Perhaps you're right. Perhaps I should have ignored your stated
intent, and let you waste your time chasing the answer to your simple
question, instead of trying to provide any useful guidance toward what
seemed to be your actual goal, which I assumed to be: getting your
(still unspecified) IoJ gizmo configured.
