Re: rbr50v2 Firmware version 2.7.3.22 periodic intermittent internet service

I just installed firmware version 2.7.3.22. Since then, my router stays connected to the internet for about 1/2 hour and then drops the internet. I have to restart the router to get the internet back. It is dropped again in 1/2 hour. And repeat. The following is the log. Note that the router internet service was down overnight. I redownloaded and manually reinstalled the same firmware version about 8:15 this morning. I had reset the router to get internet service about 08:00. The fact that I got those DoS Attacks makes no sense, since the internet service was down overnight.

This log shows the router starting at 07:09:31. When the router starts, the entire log file prior to the startup is erased. There may have been all sorts of log entries overnight, but they are gone. Those DoS log entries are from the time the router started and the time the log file was copied.

It is suspicious that the firmware was reloaded and the router restarted "about 8:00", yet the log shows 07:09. It would appear that the router time setting is not consistent with your clocks. (in the US, Daylight Saving Time ended just recently). It might be a good idea to check the Network Time Protocol (NTP) setting on the web interface, advanced Tab, Administration menu, NTP settings.
