"It's a GUI issue and we will fix it in next release then."

So it's known to NG.

RBK753 StatisticsRBK753 Statistics

Uploaded my statistics to show that I'm getting the advertised backhaul speed.    I'm also version 3.2.17.12.     I also have only owned my RBK753 set for less than a month, in case there's a possible hardware revision change but I don't see an indication of that.

Nice, thanks for letting us know. This was only a UI issue. Actual speeds was as expected.

Re: AX4200 (rbs750) backhaul only works at 1200Mbps

The telnet dump shows the 5G backhaul set to 2400G internally (hard to know if it really was a CBR) ... but, I am guessing that while the router may create a 2400G backhaul channel, the RBS is only connecting at 1200G, and why a guy with the RBK753 kit - two RBS750 - is seeing the full 2400G backhaul in the status page.

My Orbi CBK752 kit is going back to the store. And no - there are several other issues that make not using it the best decision : like unable to turn off remote access, improper port forwarding that seems to ignore the actual port definition and insteads lets all traffic through regardless of port specified in the request, DNS fails every time a device has to re-establish a DHCP connection then surf to a new domain, logs that store 15 lines then lose data, ...

This is a UI issue from what NG told me, at least wit the RBK system and NG is aware of it.

Good Luck.

Re: AX4200 (rbs750) backhaul only works at 1200Mbps

Until someone telnets into the RBS750 to verify it really is working at 2.4Gb/s - I'll remain dubious. My attempts to telnet in have all failed miserably. I say that even though the RBS750 spec lists these rates:

• Orbi AX4200 Satellite
(600 + 1200 + 2400Mbps)†

Why ever Netgear has chosen then to install a 4x4 radio with four dedicated antennas then on the RBS750. If the intention was to create a 1201 Mb/s wireless backhaul to the satellite, a 2x2 with two antennas would had been sufficient. In a world where every Cent counts in mass production this would had been a part of a standard cost-down process.

The 7 series does support 2400Mbps. I was informed of this by NG.

Also this user reported seeing it on the telnet side when FW supported telnet:

I remain dubious because the user has two satellites. I'm not saying it doesn't support 2400; rather, I am saying I'd like to see evidence that it supports 2400 with a single satellite.

The logic I am following goes like this: The same router supports 600M on 2.4G, yet his display shows only 286M. Is the display only showing the connected devices, not the band capability? If my connected devices only showed 1200M with one satellite, I wonder what it'd show with two? Would I see 2400, just like the RBK753 kit?

In any case, my CBK752 is heading back to Amazon for a full refund. And now that I have the CBK40 kit back in place, I realize just how nice it is having DNS working again.

Thats fine. NG already knows about the UI problem and said it has been resolved and will be forth coming to the CBR750.

Good Luck.
