Australia NBN HFC via iinet - RBR350 Can't detect internet
Hi All,
Issue: Trying to set up Orbi RBR350 direct to NBN modem but never detects internet connection, even when include PPPoE username and password.
Internet provider: HFC NBN connection via iinet
iinet provided router model: TP Link Archer VR1600v
Things tried: 1. Called iinet, they suggested WPS sync and / or pass through existing router to Orbi via ethernet to no success. 2. Trawelled Netgear forums with no sucess.
Latest working assumption is I have to make iinet provided router into a bridge to enable Orbi router. But just a little nervy in terms of how to and if it doesn't work can it be undone, so at least I can continue to use my iinet provided router.
I'm lothed to buy a new / different mesh network so any help welcome.
Tks.

Leave the the tplink in router mode and try it with the Orbi in access point mode.
