Extending to shed
Hello
I have just installed an Orbi RBR850 with 3 satellites into my house. All working well
I would like to have wi-fi in my shed which is 30m from the house
There is an existing fibre optical cable already in place and wanted to ask the forum how I can get wi-fi here without having to add another satellite (cost)
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Extending to shed
Is the fibre optic coming from the house or from your isp?

Re: Extending to shed
I have a transmitter in the house and a receiver in the shed. Not connected to ISP
My Starlink is connected by ethernet to my Orbi so I can pop an ethernet cable into the back of this and then into the transmitter. The receiver has an ethernet port.
Does this help?
Thanks

Re: Extending to shed
I've never setup a home fibre line.
If its acting as a basic ethenet connection between the 2 points (with what you have setup), you should just be able to add a satellite to it.
Again, thats all dependant on how you have it setup.
