How do you turn off G on RBK753

- No. It is not possible to turn off the 5G WiFi network.
- There is no reason to do so. I have connected half a dozen brands of 2.,4G cameras to the Orbi. Every one (so far) has had me open a smartphone app, enter the WiFi information (name & password), which creates a QR code that I show to the camera. Cameras have the benefit of being able to take a picture of QR codes.
The Q5 camera seems to be installed exactly the same way.

I would ignore that business about "do not connect to 5G WiFi" and follow the rest of the directions.
p.s. I am willing to spend $35 to buy one on Amazon, but I cannot have it until Sunday. (I have a box full of gizmos that people swear will not connect to the Orbi, and they have all connected.)

Did you turn OFF the other RBS while working with the camera?
Just curious, if you temporarily set WPA security to NONE, does the camera connect then?

- Yes I did shut off both satellites.
The camera app won't let me continue because it thinks I'm on the 5Ghz channel. I even tried to connect through a connection called Soft-AP on the camera, but the app didn't me to finish the setup on the alternate connection. I'll pursue the camera tech support to see if I can get a resolution.If you turned down the 5Ghz power output to 25%, you may need to walk out a bit with your setup wifi mobile phone to see if it will connect to the 2.4Ghz radio...disable the wifi on the device for 5 seconds then back ON.

- I finally made it through the Soft-AP alternate connection.
Yes I did make it to the step to scan the code, and I was able to connect to the WVC network but it got stuck there. Reset everything and tried it again and made it through. Camera finally connected.
Thx.When I have decoded similar QR codes, all they contain are the SSID and password of the WiFi system.
