Is RBS350 compatible with RBR850

Hi,
I need to expand my installation as the router is to one side of the house and the satellite to the other side and one floor bellow... I'm too often disconnected. BTW, the satellite is very expensive and I do not really need very high performances, so, if I could add a RBS350 instead of RBS850, it would make me very happy 🙂
Thanks for your answer
Fred

350s are not compatible.
EX 7500,7700 and 8000 are along with EAX80.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Re: Is RBS350 compatible with RBR850
Mmm... A wifi expander could be sufficient in my case no? In fact, it make probably more sense to build a chain of expander like one in the same floor than the router near to the stairs, another to the floor bellow always near to the stairs and finally my satellite.
Like : RBR -> EX -> EX -> RBS... but what kind of expander? 😛

Re: Is RBS350 compatible with RBR850
I do not really know the dimension but we have 170m2 on 2 floors with the router upstairs in one side and the satellite on the opposite downstairs. Let say, something like 30m length + 3m high... so, almost 100f with a floor between.
I'm looking at an EAX80, a bit cheaper and seems to be what I really need.

Finally, I build the network with RBR850 -> RBS850 -> EAX80 and it looks super efficient 🙂

Glad you got it working. PBe sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Re: Is RBS350 compatible with RBR850
I added yesterday 2x RBS350 satellites to my RBR850. All went very smooth.
RBR850 firmware: V4.6.8.2
RBS350 firmware: V4.4.0.10
So I now have RBR850 router (in router Mode) connected to 2x RBS750 and 2x RBS350 satellites.
