Netgear CM2000 has blinking white downstream light

Hello.

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing an issue with Netgear CM2000 cable modem on Xfinity.

My downstream light will blink white.  I do not have any connection issues, but I notice the following on the logs:

Re: Netgear CM2000 has blinking white downstream light

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the cable modem product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with cable modem and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "Orbi AX" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.

Betreff: Netgear CM2000 has blinking white downstream light

It seems the signal have a few noise but it will not effect too much because it come back quickly.

The LED issue may the software issue. I guess....

From D3.1 Spec

Type 20: NCP profile failure.

Type 22: NCP profile recovery.

Re: Netgear CM2000 has blinking white downstream light

Hi, I also bought a netgear cm2000. This is actually my 2nd one. My first modem worked for about A month and a half. One day it just shut off and never came back on and so I got it replaced. But on both modems, the downstream icon keeps blinking. It’s very annoying. Has there been a fix for it?

Re: Netgear CM2000 has blinking white downstream light

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
