Orbi RBk753 and Bitdefender mark API.TotalAV.com as Fraud
I have an Orbi RBK-753 with two satellites. An adult family member was using TotalAV as their antivirus / security, connected to my system, and my Bit Defender security generated 40 entries of fraud in less than 10 minutes against one device that was attempting to connect to https://totalav.com. I've blocked that device via the modem Orbinlogin.com page.
My family member had the impression the TotalAV was a very good security software to use. This does not seem to be correct!! TotalAV is and has been reported by various community sites as terrible. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has reports
the following Customer Complaints:
478 complaints closed in last 3 years
173 complaints closed in last 12 months

Beware when buying TotalAV, there have been reports that they charge ridiculous prices without clearly advertising this." and
"And for good antiviruses, you dont have to pay for one to be good, if you want a free one, I recommend Comodo Internet Security, which has a free firewall, HIPS and a sandbox, another one is Bitdefender free which is very simple but has amazing protection against viruses and free web protection."
