Orbi Satelit loosing connection - Ethernet Backhaul connected

Just got a RBR750 and RBS750. The RBR in the main house works fine. But I seems to have issues with the RBS750, which is in the workshop.
They are backhaul connected via ethernet cable.

From time to time, it just drops the connection (Every 10-15 minutes). I'm perfectly connected to the sattelite (which I can ping) but I cannot ping the main router, while its lost:

But no problem pinging the satelite:

Both computers does it, the desktop where I got a ASUS AX58BT WiFi 6 card, and my laptop; MSI with Intel Wireless card.

The app says there is connection between the router and satelitte.
The ethernet cable works without any flaws with other routers.
Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

Re: Orbi Satelit loosing connection - Ethernet Backhaul connected

what version of the firmware is the router/satellite on?

there's a beta version that just released that had a lot of fixes.

Re: Orbi Satelit loosing connection - Ethernet Backhaul connected

Are the RBS directly connected to the RBR or is there a LAN switch in betwen?

Directly, no switch in between.

They where on the latest stable version. Just applied the Beta firmware to see if that fixes some of the issues 🙂

So far, a couple of hours in, and haven't seen a dropout since, fantastic, thanks! 🙂

Re: Orbi Satelit loosing connection - Ethernet Backhaul connected

Just curious, did you power cycle the RBR and RBS after applying the v5 FW or was a reset performed and setup from scratch or just applied the FW and continued with out interrption?

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Applied to the satelite firstly and then router. Turned them off for 2 minutes, and started them up again. No reset needed 🙂
