RBK 753 S slow wifi speeds after fiber optic internet install
I have had a RBk 753S from Costco. The Router is RBR-750 and 3 satellites RBS-750. I added one satellite for a total of four. The system has been performing well for 2-3 years. Xfinity - 600 mbs download and 20 upload. I get wifi speeds of 300 to 450 depending of where I am in the home. I recently switched to Consolidated- fiber cable and purchased 1g package. I did a soft reset by unplugging new gear and orbit system. After several resets I managed to get the Orbi to work. Main optic converter cat6 output goes directly to the RBR 750 router. I am getting speeds of 900+ up and down to the switched ports of the router and all hard wired switches in the house. My current wifi speeds only get to 250-270 up and down. What could be causing this ? How can I fix this issue? Thank you in advance for any support.

Just as a test, test the speeds hardwired into the satellites.
Have you tried changing what channel you're broadcasting on?

Re: RBK 753 S slow wifi speeds after fiber optic internet install
Thank you plemans,
I did a test connect to one of the satellites : Ping 6 download 419 and upload 419 . On the same satellite ( 30 feet away from the orbit router) using WIFI sitting 10 feet from it I get 7 ping 293 down and 505 up.
I have not changed the channels. Not sure how to do that.
I did have to log in to the web based app and I think I hit apply and was able to get the router and satellites working.
