V3.2.18.1-signed

My (RBK753) is currently on firmware V3.2.16.22.1.4.9

The orbi pc login says that V3.2.18.1-signed is available.  What is that?

Hi, I also have version 3.2.16.22_1.4.9 and found me the 3.2.18.1-signed update. On the site there is not yet what improves this firmware version? I haven't installed the update yet

Thanks

Never seen a firmware number with the word 'signed'.

Maybe its a part of Netgears new firmware QA

Re: V3.2.18.1-signed

I think it is ridiculous that Netgear makes firmware available to us via the app/router without any release notes. We are not alpha/beta testers.

Re: V3.2.18.1-signed

I loaded 3.2.18.1 via Orbi app last night. This morning I removed my static DNS IP's from my win10 box. It has only been 3hrs, but I've not had any DNS connection refused issues.

I don't see any changes to the feature set in the webgui i.e. new features, but running good so far. No factory reset required, for me, after this update.

RBK752 - 35 devices connected

Nope, most current download on their site is RBR750 (Orbi Router) Firmware Version 3.2.17.12

Re: V3.2.18.1-signed

Release notes are available. I posted the release note in my post above. It includes a Single change related to security scan. When you go to your app, it will show you a new firmware version available. If you click on that version, it will show release notes before you install. Once installed you cannot see it.

Re: V3.2.18.1-signed

Hello Smiley Happy

A firmware version with "signed" at the end of the number version is a Beta firmware.

Can you please send me a screenshot of the app where this version appears as available?

Thank you for your help.

Have a nice day

I don't use the app.   It appears when you login on a pc and check for updates.  If it's a beta why is it on the netgear server?  Go look.
