Why is HTTP allowed to connect from the Internet in router mode
RBR850 in Router mode and I've turned off remote managment but I still see I can connect to my external HTTP port from the Internet and prompts for username/password. What service is running on HTTP/80? The admin UI port is blocked though. Why is HTTP open to the world? Also, is this related to /MNU_access_setRecovery_index.htm page running on HTTP? Finally, if the router is allowing a pasword reset, why isn't it using HTTPS? It's 2020, not 1990.

Re: Why is HTTP allowed to connect from the Internet in router mode
I'm surprised no one is concerned about this security question? HTTP to the Orbi router is open the to world. I couldn't find anything on it or did I miss it. can anyone shed a light on this or point me to a link that describes why it's like this?
