Gemtek Technology
I recently installed an Orbi RBR850 and I see a device I don't recognize. It's listed as "Gemtek Technology" Computer. Any idea what it is, or whether it's part of the Orbi's install? Thanks. Joe

You see it where?
On your attached devices list?
On a wireless scan?
Some details of where you see it help

Re: Gemtek Technology
Thanks for the reply! It's shown in the Devices listing. It's shown as hardwired, but I have nothing that I know of hardwired with that name. AFAIK, my only hardwired devices are an HP desktop PC, a Sony and a Samsung TV, a Marantz receiver, and an HP Laser Print/Scan/Fax.

Re: Gemtek Technology
The app is acting up in general now, showing my iPhone as hardwired when it's not, for example. I'm new to Orbi. Is the app flakey sometimes? Seems so to me. The Orbi and the app were solid for the first two weeks after the initial setup, but a few days ago I had to reset and reinstall the Orbi system because the app and my devices couldn't communicate with it. Since then the app has been acting very strange.

Re: Gemtek Technology
I've never been the biggest fan of the app.
If you log in through the browser, do they show up properly?
