FYI, you can leave WiFi Private IP addressing feature disabled while at home. It is safe while at home. If you know your going to travel outside of the home, then re-enable it. This has been a known problematic feature that was introduce by both Android and Apple Mfrs for there phones and pads. NG has already been aware of this as well. Maybe something that NG can't fully make work since it is meant to hide information about the device. FYi, the feature puts randomized MAC address on the phones and pads with is supposed to make them harder to track and do nefarious things too. This feature makes the host brand and model name of the device unknown or hidden to the connecting router. It's a security measure and I get it. Mostly directed while users are out in the public domain and away from the home network. Honestly I've never seen a need for it while at home and on your own home network. I keep mine disabled while at home all the time. So I can see what is connected. Over all, up to you if you want to keep it enabled or not while at home.

I am aware of what it does. And honestly it's one of the best feature ever introduced to iPhones and apple product. Now other router manufacturers of the same class and less has no issue with this feature, so this is definitely something Netgear needs to work on. Most persons seem to have not encounter this issue as yet as I haven't seen it on this forum.

Of course. I presume over time, should get better. Along with issues that Apple has to work on as well. đ
I've seen issues with this randomizer with other model routers and non NG branded ones as well. NG isn't the only one. đ
