Bug in the orbi software from day 1 until now
You please tell me how on earth the google pixel phone is hard wired? And the software have had these issues from day one and they are still not fix 2 years later. And with this said how can we trust the result given on the software.

with mine, if they're connected via one of the satellites, they show hardwired.

Yep, for me, on the router admin web page Attached Devices list, everything shows up as wired to the router! The two 970s status pages are correct, and show connected devices. The Orbi app on my iPhone also shows everyhthing connected to the router wired, nothing connected to the 970s. Speed tests are fine, so the devices are really connected to the appropriate Orbi with the proper WiFi (2.4, 5, 6, 7).
it’s been that way for three weeks. I have not rebooted, as I’m testing to see how long my router and satellite stay up. I suspect a reboot will fix it. I have seen what you have, where a device or two will show his wired, but this is the first time everything shows up as wired.
I have reported it, and given logs, and NETGEAR is researching. I would recommend that you open a support case, and send them your logs. They may be able to see something different than what they see with mine.
