I have orbi wifi 7 970 3 pack which means I have two satellites and a router, I notice the satellites have two separate ip, meaning the ip address of both satellites are different, since its a mesh shouldn't the ip be the same ? and if so could that be the cause of the transition from one satellite to the next drop signal? two different Mac two different ip.

(Caveat: some Orbi features that have been around for YEARS have disappeared with the WiFi7 products. I do not have one and cannot check personally.)
On my old Orbi, the log can be found on the web interface, Advanced Tab:
My system allows me to email the log to myself every time it fills up (or at least it has up until the latest firmware version. (I should check) I hear that the WiFi7 Orbi dropped that feature.

No.
the addresses have to be different as the IP address is per device. If they had the same, one of them wouldn't work.

There are several very long conversations about the new 970 product and newer phones dropping the WiFi signal when moving between Orbi units. Scroll through the topics on this forum:

MAC AND IP addresses of each RBS should be different regardless of wireless or wire connected.

Well should be key words.. But you see the **bleep** happening in the picture right. So what you think is going on.

So what happens if you use the Generate new BH Password, hae the RBS first wirelessly sync to the RBR fully with front BLUE LED then after that connect one at a time to ethernet BH. Once at a time until you see the status change from Wireless to wired BH on the RBR web UI.
