MSI Raider Laptop with Killer WiFi 7, MSI Raider Laptop Killer WiFi 6e, Lenovo with WiFi 6, used a USB NetGear A7000 WiFi 6/6e adapter, wifi speed decent.
But again, once I went back to the RBR850 all laptops performed at better speeds, no issues, my son's Lenonvo Wifi 6 had a ping of 40ms to 100ms before on the 700 his ping was 500+

Does the RBRs connected devices show the WiFi7 laptop connecting to both 5+6Ghz or only one frequency?
- AkWingnutMar 27, 2025Tutor
Yes, even my OnePlus 13 phone connected via WiFi shows the 7 as a connections but again speeds were horrible, again in the beginning speeds were through the roof, then it got bad and then worse then would not even work.

Are you still in contact with NG support with a support ticket?
- AkWingnutMar 27, 2025Tutor
Yes I currently am, Sunday I produced several debug logs for them with the issues I am experiencing I would give you the info for the modem however I do not know what the make and model is. NG has replaced the Router at least twice, and the Sat once, I keep having the same issues out of the box fresh setup.

Ok I was wondering about if you got any RMA units. If RMA units are exhibiting same issue, Seems like maybe a environment and devices connected issue. Again, for that size of home, the RBR should be all that's needed, maybe one RBS at the far send.
And depending on cameras and there resolution, those could hog up system resources or bog down a system having that many cameras connected. Would be a test to turn OFF all cameras and then test the system to see if speeds slow downs are still seen.
I'll recommend just keep in contact with NG support for now and hopefully they can figure this one out. 🤔

When using the 770, and IoT the connection is horrible, so horrible for any device connected to the IoT, however if I name the Guest network the same as the IoT and disable the IoT and use Guest everything works. I do not understand why its doing this, I am getting just fed up with it, as I have been dealing with this for almost 6 months now with their RnD Team, spending this kind of money should not be that difficult to have a working system. It should be plug in and it should work right out of the box like indicated.
