Slow Wired Speeds for Orbi 770
Got a new Orbi 770 Mesh Network with 3 Satellites. The output of the wired 2.5 GB ports is around 100Mbs. Received a replacement router from Netgear. Same problem. My router speed tests from the Or...

Just check with a PC connected to the back of the CM modem.
Then also speed test with Ooklas installable speed test app installed on the PC.
Try a different PC to compare results.

Wow. I would be on the phone to Netgear as well.
To recap:
Netgear CM2000 Cable modem, connected to
Orbi RBE771 Router WAN port. Show Statistics reports connection as 2500M/Full
Orbi RBE771 Router. Ookla Speed Test reports 1.4G
Orbi RBE771 Router LAN port. Show Statistics reports connection as 1000M/Full (because whatever is connected to this port has a gigabit Ethernet port not capable of any higher speed)
Device*** Ethernet Port. Ookla Speed Test (web site or application?) report varying speeds from 86Mbps to 256Mbps.
More than one cable has been used for the Orbi to device connection.
More than one Router LAN port has been used.
*** Devices tested include iMac and Apple TV, all using Ookla web site or Ookla app.
One common suggestion is to temporarily connect the test device (iMac) directly to the CM2000 modem, which removes the Orbi from the situation. It is not entirely clear (to me) if this step was done. (I often get tangled up in long discussions.)
Another suggestion is to document which specific Ookla server is being used for each test. Ookla has (literally) hundreds of servers around the world and it is not entirely clear how their software decides which to use for a specific test.

Very accurate description.

When plugged in to the cable modem I get about 940 Mbs.
