RBK50 vs CBR40

Is the RBK50 just a CBR40 + an extender?
Reason I ask is, my cable provider only lists CBR40 as approved. Cannot find CBR40 anywhere to purchase.
If we buy the RBK50, will that work on our cable provider's network as it looks like it's 2 separate devices - a modem/router and an extender.
Confirmation of this would be VERY helpful!
Thanks in advance!

The CBK40 is a RBR with a built in cable modem. This will ge a gateway modem with built in router and wifi. The RBK50 is a router and wifi only and requires the use of a ISP modem or ONT to get it's internet services from. There is no built in modem with the 50 series Orbi.
