Some but not all devices are able to connect to the wifi

I recently tried to get into home assistant. I watched a youtube video and decided to do port forwarding. Now I dont know if I port foward wrong or not. After, my wifi is unusable. I reseted to the router and able to use it. After the incident, my network sometimes would drop. However, there are some devices that’s able to connect like my laptop or my smart cameras and door lock. Tonight marks the 6th time the network drops and only a few is able to connect. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Please help!!

Re: Some but not all devices are able to connect to the wifi

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Traffic Meter, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Re: Some but not all devices are able to connect to the wifi

We’ve grown so accustomed to Wi-Fi being readily available for listening to music, streaming our favorite shows, and allowing us to work from home that we rarely think twice about being connected until we’re suddenly experiencing a Wi-Fi problem.

A loss of connection is disruptive to a daily routine, but most Wi-Fi issues are easy to fix, so you can get reconnected relatively quickly. When your Wi-Fi goes down, you can restore access on your own by troubleshooting some of these common problems.
