Want to reset password fo CBK40 router.
My wifi works fine for me but I have forgotten my password and other people can't use the wifi, so I'm trying to reset but it keeps telling me my security answers are wrong. When I try to register it says a product with that serial number already exists. Frustrating to say the least. Help please.

Re: Want to reset password fo CBK40 router.
To reset the WiFi password, the owner has to be logged into the Orbi router, either using the Orbi 'app' or the Orbi web interface.
The web interface password is different from the WiFi password (although a person could make them match if they wanted to, almost no one ever does).
Perform a Factory Reset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMw4ePACgc4
After this step:
- The WiFi name (SSID) and password will match what is printed on the product label, and
- The web management credentials will be "admin" and "password"
Connect a web browser to the Orbi router (http://orbilogin.net or 192.168.1.1). Enter those credentials. Then you are free to set the WiFi name and password to anything you want. (as well as create security prompts in case you forget the admin password in the future).
(and many other parameters if they interest you.)

Be sure to visit the Orbi with cable modem forum:

Good Luck.
