I have an RBK50 dual pack.
(Router plus a satellite)
I want to add another satellite to cover an upper floor of my house but because my router is in the basement and the satellite
is in the main floor, I plan to run an ehternet wire from my basement router all the way up to the second satellite.
Is this going to work fine ? while my first satellite remains wireless.
I just want to make sure before I purchase it.
Thanks.

Re: Adding a second orbi satellite
Yes you can add another satellite. Others have posted having 4 and 6 added.
30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.

Re: Adding a second orbi satellite
Yes, thank you, I understand, maybe I didn't phrase it properly.
The question is whether I can do the second connection using an ethernet wire and not wireless
as my distance would be too far going from the basement to the second floor.
Is it as simple as connecting it through the ports on each unit ?
And if that is the case, I shouldn't need any special pairing or anything since it's wired right ?
