Advice AP wired backhaul
Hi!
Am running rbk50 w wired backhaul and (fortunately) it’s working reasonably well.
I’ve just changed internet provider though, and need to change my setup.
My modem/router now needs to be in the basement. I have an orbi and the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor. I’d prefer to have the orbi router on the 2nd floor (where my NAS and entertainment system are) and the satellite on the 1st floor (closest to the modem).
Is this possible??

Re: Advice AP wired backhaul
You can place switches in between the router and satellites, just make sure the switches are NON-Managed switches. Managed switch seem to cause problems with Orbi systems.
