Hi
I currently have BT full fibre internet. If I bought the Orbi 860 would this replace my current BT Smart Hub 2 or would I still need to use this?
Thanks
Terry

If the FIBRE line goes directly into the gateway, then you'd need to keep using the bt hub or get an ONT only device because the orbi doesn't have a fibre connection.
but if there's an ONT before it that converts to ethernet, then you could.

Re: BT Router
Depends. Some ISP's require you to use their gateway as its a gateway/ONT device.
Some have just an ONT that you can connect the router to.
You'd just want to check with your ISP

Re: BT Router
Hi
Thanks for the reply. The reason I ask is that I currently plug the fibre connection directly into the WAN connection on my Hub. his suggests that the hub would not be needed but just need confirmation.
Best
