Beam Forming
I'm having a difficult time with one of my RBS50 satellites. Specifically maintaining a good connection with a Ring camera.
I'd like to disable beam forming on that particular satellite. Can this be done? Or must I disable this for the whole system?

All of these settings (MIMO, Beamforming, Transmit Power Level, etc.) affect the entire Orbi system.
Orbi supports both Implicit and Explicit Beamforming on both 2.4G and 5G bands. (See page 4)

There is a fascinating discussion of beamforming in this article: https://routerguide.net/enable-beamforming-on-or-off/
Explicit beamforming is a part of the 802.11ac standard and there is no method for disabling it. Both the access point and the individual device must support Explicit beamforming, so it only comes into play on devices that are compatible.
I see no harm in disabling Implicit beamforming on the entire Orbi system as an experiment. (On the Advanced Wireless Settings page).

Re: Beam Forming
Let me know how you resolve this.
One of my Ring Spotlight Cams periodically starts generating unreadable videos. The problem is solved by rebooting the Orbi system.
