CBR40 & Extremely Slow RBS20
Hi all,
Been experienceing some very frustrating speed issues with any RBS20 satellite I connect to my CBR40. The CBR40 performes excelent, speeds are what I pay for (200mbps) and i have no issues with it. The sattellite however is constsnly puts out 50 mbps or less no matter if im wired in or via wifi.
Sattelite is using wierless backhaul which reports as 867M in the web UI. Status light for the syn bettween the router and the satallite is blue and status reads as good.
I've tried lookign at different channels to place my devices on and im already on the least congested. And again the router itself has no issues....
Ive tried playing around with Enabling/disabling Beamforming, Daisy Chain, All of these related settings. Here is a snapshot of the current settigns all which I've tweeked in the past.
I am also runnig nthe latest firmaware on both the router and the Satellite. Ive went as far as gettign a new satellite to test if it was the device itself and the results are the same.
So riddle me this one batman/woman?!

Re: CBR40 & Extremely Slow RBS20
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi with Cable modem product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi with Cable modem and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.
