Can I run my RBR10 router without the satellite and still get good results.
Greetings. the RBR10 mesh system comes with a router and one satellite. With the satellite connected wifi speed is great but my internet speed is greatly reduced. I therefore thought I could run just the router. It does work that way buy my wifi strength has been greatly reduced, even for those devices close to the router.
Is there some way to configure the router so I get better results.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
