Can I set 5GHz channels to 40Mhz?

I have 2 Orbis and I have some questions about channelwidts for 5Ghz.

I have no problem with the dedicated 5GHz backhaul radio operating on a 80MHz bandwidth, but I would REALLY like to be able to set the client facing 5GHz radio down to 40MHz if at all possible.  Can someone let me know if this is possible?

I really like my Orbi system but its really lacking in some of the more basic features (such as splitting SSIDs up per band and manually selecting client channel bandwidth)

I cannot recall anyone ever mentioning that this can be done.  What I have seen is this description (below)  of  the 5G radio space, with the comment that customers would be probably be unhappy with slower connection speed.  When people pose a question on the forum, they usually have something specific in mind.  So, I am wondering what is the advantage of reducing the channel width, or what problem does it solve.  Thanks

The largest thing that reducing chanel width does is reduce CCI.  With non DFS channels being used, we only have a very limited number of 5GHz channels to select from. I understand the backhaul radio being at 80MHz, but the fronthaul radio I would love to reduce the channel width to 20 or 40MHz so that I can select a clean frequency.

This is a MAJOR issue in MDU environments, or dense neighborhoods.

Only thing you can do is help with noise and interferences is turn down the power output of the radios which is recommended if your in a wifi congested area or nieghbor hood. I have a Orbi user right next door to me. I set my 5Ghz front haul to 36 while they are on 48. There 2.4G is on 11 while I use 1. Seems to work well.

The only frequecy you can set to 40Mhz is 2.4Ghz. 5Ghz is all automatic.
