Can Orbi Router connect to existing main router wirelessly in AP mode?
Hi all,
I have read about Orbi Router can be switched into AP mode when an ethernet cable is connected from an existing gateway/router to Orbi Router. Will it be possible to achieve this wirelessly (without the ethernet cable)?
Thanks!

No. May be possible if you used some sort of wireless bridge between the Orbi and the router, but it would need to be something that didn't interfere with WiFi.

wirelessly no , but you could look at powerline adapters to connect main router to the orbi
however the orbi is designed to connect the main orbi router to the main router via ethernet and then the sat/s connect back to the orbi router via wifi which achieves the same thing
