Can you use the Nighthawk R7000 & Orbi AC2200 together?
To whomever can help,
I apologize if this has been answered, but this is all new to me and I'm trying to figure out a way I can use my Nighthawk R7000 & Orbi AC2200 together. I've read a few suggestions and I've seen some things on Youtube, but I'd like to ask if this configuration would work because the main Internet cable and modem are upstairs in my wifes home office and I live stream downstairs in my studio. Would this be my best option...
Cable to Modem to Nighthawk R7000 (SSID) from one of the Ethernet Ports of the R7000 - Ethernet Cable to the Orbi (Router) [in AP Mode] Ethernet Port - Orbi Satellite, Ethernet Cable to laptop where I stream from. Please advise.

That configuration is as good as it gets.
The only other thing you could do, if you don't need the Nighthawk, is eliminate it.
so:
Cable to Modem to Orbi (Router) [in Router Mode] Ethernet Port - Orbi Satellite, Ethernet Cable to laptop where I stream from.
But the way you have it is fine, if the Nighthawk R7000 is needed.
Thanks for the response. Yeah, I definitely need the Nighthhawk, but is it ok to have the Orbi in the same room as the Nighthawk or will it cause interference?
