Compatibility Question
I moved into my brother's house recently. He has an tri-band Orbi BRB30 Router with a plug-in satellie unit (Maybe a RBK30). My question is this - I have an orbi RBS40V (Alexa Smart Speaker + Satellite), can I connect the satellie portion of my mesh setup as a 2nd satellite to his mesh system? My Orbi Alexa Smart Speaker is a tri-ban AC3000, his orbi is tri-band AC2200.
Model: RBR20|Orbi AC2200 Tri-band WiFi Router, RBS40V|Orbi Voice Add-on WiFi Satellite and Smart Speaker

Re: Compatibility Question
Cool, so to confirm - an AC3000 satellite can connect to an AC2200 network?

Re: Compatibility Question
Yes, it can. WiFi systems are "backward compatible." When it connects to the AC2200, it will operate at that lower speed.
