Disney Circle on Orbi - when will it be available

The Disney Circle offering sounds great.  When will it be available on the ORBI?

I agree -- the addition of Circle with Disney is a welcome feature among the many system upgrades Netgear has in store for their Orbi hardware. I'm also hoping that this firmware upgrade will bring with it many of the much-needed fixes which have been plaguing these systems for many customers. It will be well worth the wait to get a well-tested and refined firmware upgrade this time, so keep up the good work Netgear and I'll try to continue being patient Smiley Very Happy

Exciting! Following. Was sad Orbi didn't have a parental control. However, this brings hope.

Any timeframe on release? The build in parental controls that use OpenDNS are not working and not very robust. Disney Circle seems like the best solution. Please hurry up and make it available.

We still need the physical Disney Circle device correct?  Its not virtual via the Orbi is it?

No. When you upgrade to MR 2.1, you will not need a separate Circle device.  The Circle software is in the Orbi.  You wIll still need Circle App.

I do not see an option for RBS units, did I miss it?

Hello johnbendever

You will have to do a manual update of the firmware to version 2.1 I have linked it below.
