Do too many sattelites slow things down?
Hi,
I am moving to a new house where I suspect there will be wifi dead zones.
I havent yet bought a system, however I'm looking at getting the Orbi AC3000 router with possibly 3 sattelites.
Question - is it possible that too many sattelites may actually slow connections down?
I was planning to use a wired backhaul to the sattelites
Ignoring all obvious issues such as it is cost , more power requirements etc.
Thanks

Re: Do too many sattelites slow things down?
People on this forum have reported having up to six satellites on one Orbi system and 100+ total devices.
Three satellites, especially with ethernet backhaul links, sounds entirely reasonable.

30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
