Displaying these entries in the log is optional.  Although the titles are alarming ("attack!!!"), they are only an indication that the Orbi firewall has detected connections attempts that fit a recognized pattern.  None of the connections were successful.  The Orbi does not accept connections from the Internet unless the user has deliberately told it to. (Port Forwarding)

On my home phone, at least 90% (maybe more!) of the calls I receive are from number I do not recognize, and I do not answer them.  The phone actually keeps a lof of all calls received and I can scroll through the log if I want to.  (Hint: I never do.)

What can I do to keep people from calling my phone number?

Answer: nothing.

What can I do to keep people from sending mail that I throw in the trash without opening?

Answer: nothing.

What can I do to keep curious people around the world from attempting to connect to every public IP address (including mine)?

Answer: nothing.

I have been having two Orbi systems send me log files for over two years.  Every single day, they record dozens (sometimes hundreds) of these log entries about "attacks".  Yet these two Orbi's have never let anyone penetrate the router, and these two routers have never failed.

Bottom LIne: This is normal. If the log entries bother you, check the box on the Advanced Tab, Setup, WAN setup "Disable port scan and DoS protection."  I really hate this wording, because what it means is "do not fill the log up with alarms".  The router is already protected. and there is no way to turn that off.
