Does the Oribi RK83 support additional wifi networks other than primary + guest?

Does the Oribi RK83 support additional wifi networks other than primary + guest?

I have lots of smart home devices a few of which have difficultly connecting to wifi's networks which have dual 2.4 and 5G, as such I previously had three wifi networks in my home:

Primary 2.4/5G

Primary 2.4G

Guest 2.4/5G auto

I have updated my firmware, and I don't see any simple way to add an additional network.

I also didn't see any simple option to make any of the networks hidden - is that a supported feature?

If these features are not supported please advise if I should be using one your Nighthawk products instead.

Re: Does the Oribi RK83 support additional wifi networks other than primary + guest?

I just found this post:

https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/How-to-set-a-separate-SSID-for-the-5-GHz-network-on-your-Orbi/...

It provides instructions to login via Telnet and have some settings changes using command line settings.

If anyone knows this works on the new Oribi let me know.

When this is done does anyone know if this separate network is then listed and managable via the browser GUI ?

Thanks !

Separation of SSID is not officially supported on Orbi systems including Orbi AX.

If your asking abour Orbi AX, please check out the Orbi AX forum:

Good Luck
