I just bought a new RBK53 for my son and had Amazon deliver it to his house (clear across the United States). I came on a visit to replace his old Nighthawk with the Orbi, and one of the two satellites the Power LED is flashing red. According to the web site, this means "the firmware is corrupted." I tried the paperclip. Failed. Am I correct that the only solution is to box up the whole thing and return it to Amazon?

You might try to see if you can get FW loaded via the TFTP method on the RBS:

IF this fails, send back to Amazon.

Re: FirmWare Corrupted
Bless You, it worked! Naturally, I had brought my lightest laptop running Linux. Back to the command line to load and run tftp client. I gave this less than a 1% chance, and the satellite updated to 2.3.5.30 and connected automatically!
