Firmware upgrade from V2.0.0.74 to V2.1.1.6 causes erratic operation of mesh network
Upgraded system (1 RBR50, 2RBS50 satellites ) Firmware from V2.0.0.74 to V2.1.1.6 using procedure on netgear website. Firmware upgrades were applied with no issue. System ran for about an hour when suddently satellites would connect for a minute or two - randomly - and then disconnect for half hour or so. Website showed the dropouts and reconnects as this happened. Resetting entire system did not help. Utimately had to wait for each satellite station to connect and quickly backout firmware, first on satellites then main router. System again works great on firmware V2.0.0.74.
Want upgrade in order to use Alexa interace.
Not sure of the next step?

You should probably try the beta 2.1.2.10 https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/OrbiOS-2-1-1/td-p/1476960/page/5
to see if that stabilizes your connection with satellites.

Eddie, i have the same hardware as you an experienced the same problems.
I backed out to 2.0.0.74 and it's "working" but barely. I haven't tried the 2.x firmware yet, because i think beta is just too risky...
