The answer is no. However, depending on what PC, Laptop, etc you have, you can force what frequency you want to connect at. My Dell laptop allows me to force connect either 20Mhz or 40Mhz on 2.4Ghz and 80Mhz only on 5Ghz.

To get a connetion rate of 866Mpbs on the user side of 5Ghz if the wireless device supports that rate, 80Mhz will be needed. Channesl 36 thru 48 do support 80Mhz.

One last thought: are you aware of any comperable mesh (SOHO market) systems that come to mind that offer similar functionality out of the box as Orbi systems, but that allow the user to hard-set both center channels and channel widths?
