Home server on Orbi?
Not sure model is correct. My login says RBR50, but it is both router and satelilte...
Anyway, I am trying to create a server for my ALL Mac home so that I can have one location for all my music on laptop/ipad/desktop.
Is it possible to connect one to the Orbi router, and if so, does it need to be another Mac or computer or can it just be a harddrive?
I have a 10 year old Mac Mini with 10.6 software and all my current ones are 10.13.x
TIA,
Jeff

Re: Home server on Orbi?
Don't bother with a mac mini thats so old. I recommend investing in a synology NAS. It's what i use. It has an itunes server for music, centralized file services, plex for media, and a photo gallery for storing all your pictures.
