hat Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

I have successful internet connection on all other devices. The error message is "socket connection failed. WiFi router is blocking peer to peer connection. Please check your router setting to allow proximal connectivity" How can I " Unblock, or allow proximal connectivity " to allow internet access for this device? In router settings, the device is "allowed" , but I think this is only for WiFi network. Security is set to "WPA2-PSK" Thanks

Arris TM1602 Modem >> NG Orbi RBR50 Router
Router Firmware just updated to latest rev. Version V2.3.1.44
2500 Sq ft RBR50 router + 1 Satelite RBS50
Thermostat is less than 25 feet from router (connecting fine to WiFi, but router won't allow internet connection for thermostat)
I enabled Beamforming and MIMO. ...No change.
I will try setting manual channel
Thanks
