How to connect AP to my Orbi Router wireless
Hi Team. I have 2 sets of RBR20.
Router 1. I am keeping as Router.
Router 2. I converted to AP.
Router 1 has 2 satellites.
Router 2. How do I connect to Router 1 wireless?
Thanks.
Sam

Re: How to connect AP to my Orbi Router wireless
My understanding is that the RBR20 can be set up as an Access Point (AP) but it can only be connected using the yellow ethernet (WAN) jack. i.e. with an ethernet cable. One of the biggest disappointments with the Orbi product.

Thank you. That is a disappointment. I was really looking forward to connecting them wireless.

Think Powerline Ethernet instead of wireless
I have it the other way round, R7800 (proper grown up router) > Powerline > Orbi router in AP mode > Satellites.
Works fine.
